Ryan De Vere is a music artist, singer, composer, songwriter, and pianist.
He grew up in the Urals. Both of his parents graduated from music school and were members of a vocal-instrumental ensemble. He studied music with his grandmother, a renowned music teacher. At the age of 17, he moved to Saint Petersburg, where he graduated from Saint Petersburg University.
In Saint Petersburg, he participated in several rock bands. He worked on arrangements and wrote lyrics for songs in both Russian and English.
He took part in the Hans Zimmer competition and considers himself largely Zimmer’s student.
He has traveled widely and lived in different countries, including Greece, Thailand, the United States, Belgium, Finland, Cyprus, Sweden, Malaysia, and Kazakhstan.
He is nearly fluent in French, speaks English confidently, and can understand and communicate in Thai.
He completed with distinction a professional course in Commercial Song Mixing and Mastering under the guidance of a leading sound producer.
He has always held an active civic stance.
Although most of his songs had been written in English, in 2020 Ryan De Vere created a YouTube channel to support his friends in Belarus. This led to the song “Bela-Chyrvona-Bely.”
Later, he created a TikTok channel, where he published covers and musical responses to current events in Russian.
In 2021, he moved to one of his favorite warm countries to record an album.
